Can you really make all this from just a floor plan?
Yes. The plan gives us every wall, door, window and dimension; we build the home on it true to the inch, then finish, furnish and light it. Elevations, a finish schedule or photos of the lot help us match your choices more closely, but aren't needed.
What kind of floor plan works?
A builder's brochure, a listing's plan, an architect's drawing, or a phone photo of a printed plan taken straight on, in feet and inches or in meters. A PDF or an image attached to your email is best; for large files, send a link.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
It depends on the home and what you'd like made of it. Send us the plan through your brief, or write to ceo@trueinch.com, and we'll reply with a price and a delivery date before any work starts.
Does the walkthrough work on a phone?
Yes. It opens from a link in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, with touch, a mouse or the keyboard. Nothing to install.
Is the light real?
The sun stands where it will for the home's location, on the day and at the hour you choose, and light bounces off walls and floors as it does in a real room. The report gives the same light in numbers: hours of sun and daylight in footcandles, room by room.
How accurate is it?
On 152 real plans, 85% of printed dimensions were worked out to within an inch from the drawing alone. Each report says what it measured and what it assumed. It's a plan-verified estimate, not a certified measurement: how the score works.
Is my plan private?
Yes. Your plan is used only to make your home and is never shared. What we make for you opens at its own address, with a password if you'd like one.
Do I need to sign up for anything?
No. There's nothing to sign up for or install: you email us the plan, and the home comes back as a link that opens in any browser.
